Anatoliy Vasylovych Beldinsky was a Ukrainian classical guitarist and composer born on 14 February 1927 in Luhansk. Trained as a mechanical engineer, he spent most of his career designing locomotives at the Luhansk Diesel Locomotive Plant. In parallel, he cultivated a lifelong passion for the guitar, performing extensively and eventually joining the Luhansk Philharmonic after retirement. His compositions are characterized by lyrical melodies, clear structures, and accessible technical writing, making them popular among students and concert performers alike. He died on 26 November 2018 at the age of 91, leaving behind a small but enduring legacy in the guitar repertoire.
